Nish Kotecha, Senior Partner and Founder

Nish is Senior Partner and founder of Sphere Partners Limited.

Nish trained as an Investment Banker for over 12 years at Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan and BZW. During

this period he spent some 6 years covering Asia specialising in India and some 6 years focussing on Europe

and the US.

He has advised on raising equity finance (private equity, IPO's through to large Privatisations and equity

derivatives); debt finance (including hybrids) and on their Mergers and Acquisitions strategy.

He has managed transactions worth over US$30 billion for companies worldwide.

Nish is a graduate of the London School of Economics; a member of the International Who's Who; Vice

President of TiE UK (www.tie-uk.org)

Amir Eilon, Eilon & Associates Limited

Amir is the Founder of Eilon & Associates, aiming to advise companies and VC's on their approach to the
capital markets and strategic corporate transactions.

Amir was an Investment Banker for over twenty years, most latterly with CSFB, BZW and Morgan Stanley.

Amir starting in the Debt Capital markets advising on capital raising and swaps, devising many innovative

funding structures, and at one time running the dealing room. Amir then focussed on the Equity Capital

markets helping companies and governments raise many billions.

Amir also ran a Structured Capital markets group aiming to exploit arbitrage opportunities from market

inefficiencies, such as the Enhanced Script dividends. Finally, before setting up Eilon & Associates, Amir was

involved in the private equity business, looking at investment opportunities in Western Europe.

Shafiq Ahmed, Sphere Partners Limited

Shafiq holds a BA in Business and Financial Services and has also studied Financial Modelling (Management

Course) at Harvard University.

Shafiq has extensive experience within retail, specific sectors include, Financial Services, Customer

Relationship Marketing and Merchandising.

Shafiq was responsible for the development and implementation of a loyalty programme for a leading

luxury brand.

Bhagirath Iyer, Associate

Bhagirath has extensive experience within the microfinance field.

Bhagirath has work throughout Asia with over 50 microfinance institutions in developing commercial credit

rating reports.
